Drag and drop, a familiar Microsoft Windows technique, is also a foundation for Taxonomer operations. During Taxonomer's drag and drop, the Taxonomer Classification Engine (R) invokes intelligent classification and linkage processes.

From the Source treeview the 'Alpha' Reference was dragged and dropped on 'Greek Alphabet' in the Target. Though Alpha appears to be present in Source and Target, there is only one version of it, and that's in the Master Catalog in the Source treeview.

Dragging and dropping References within Master Catalogs or Collections reclassifies them while Taxonomer automatically keeps track and maintains the links.

Taxonomer's drag and drop supports multi-selection of references when Master Catalogs contain numerous References, as they are designed to do.
