An Event Calendar resembles a
wall calendar on which people record upcoming events.
This fragment from an Event Calendar, for August 2007, displays three
types of events:
- Recurs on the same day each year, see 'Deadline
for the Annual Report'
- Occurs on one particular date only, see 'Office
Party'
- Spans a series of dates, see 'Developer Vacation'
Each event is allocated a sequence ID for the day
on which it is recorded. Within the limits of practicality, any
number of events can be allocated to a day.
The Event Calendar is published as a type of
Knowledge Base in which events are listed in a table organized by
date. |
